Multiplication – why did nobody teach me this method when I was younger?

Japanese multiplication method   Have fun practicing, remember to draw the lines on the diagonal so that the units tens and hundreds line up and to circle the groups before adding them up – use coloured pencils if you want to, it may make it easier for you to see the groups.
